Kenzo has captured spring perfectly in these delicate, whimsical, floral chiffons. My personal favourite is the cream kaftan on the right, with appliqué chiffon flowers and striped collar. The kaftan adds interest further with drawstring-ruched sleeves in an alternate peach coloured rose print, but keeps continuity with the leaf green foliage throughout. Its transparency emulates the delicacy of the roses and gives the piece elegant floating movement. Teamed above with Japanese inspired geisha shoes with lilac platforms, also Kenzo; perhaps not wearable but it’s not intended to be, this is fashion art.

I’m completely obsessed with Paris. An obsession is definitely what it is, and if I could be one thing in life, it would be a Parisian because so many fantastic things come with being une parisienne; naturally fashionable, simply chic, speaking French with a beautiful accent and an air of pomposity. Why wouldn’t I aspire to this?! Anyway this leaves me uncontrollably drawn to things related in any way to my fixation, leading to me finding these shoes! I strongly believe a girl (or guy, let’s not be sexist here) can never own too many pairs of shoes. They will always fit no matter how many carbs you have or haven’t eaten. I found these beautiful satin-peep toe-platform-chunky-heels, initially drawn by their timeless taupe colour and contrast black bow detail, but sold on their name and the fact they’re a bargain. J’aime.
