I am a bit of a shoe whore so when I came across CLEO B exhibiting at London Fashion Week, a magpie affect took over and I was drawn in by the “Sucker M.C.s” heels. Who could resist these gems? Never have I before seen a heel made from a gold cassette tape. Designer Cleo B’s inspiration began with a tear out from a magazine of a pink cassette tape against a yellow background which brought back memories of the eighties and started ideas for the “it’s like that” collection. the collection pays tribute to the decade of hip-hop, boom boxes and electric colours with an attitude that’s fierce, far-out and daring.
Reminiscing about creating mix tapes and recording songs on tapes from radio shows was the nostalgia that inspired the custom-made cassette heels, whose glistening gold finish and bold shape embody everything cool about the era. This led Cleo B to transform classic feminine silhouettes with added funky adornments.
Miu Miu: Let there be sparkle and glitter on chunky heels. And we say “Oh if we must..” *Grin*
Very Dorothy click-you-heels-three-times, although red seems to be the only colour these beauties don’t come in. I’d happy have the entire collection though my favourite has to be the electric blue, quite striking and fit perfectly with the jewel colours trend I’ve spoken about before. Who can resist these chunky heeled gems? Proper party feet.

I’m completely obsessed with Paris. An obsession is definitely what it is, and if I could be one thing in life, it would be a Parisian because so many fantastic things come with being une parisienne; naturally fashionable, simply chic, speaking French with a beautiful accent and an air of pomposity. Why wouldn’t I aspire to this?! Anyway this leaves me uncontrollably drawn to things related in any way to my fixation, leading to me finding these shoes! I strongly believe a girl (or guy, let’s not be sexist here) can never own too many pairs of shoes. They will always fit no matter how many carbs you have or haven’t eaten. I found these beautiful satin-peep toe-platform-chunky-heels, initially drawn by their timeless taupe colour and contrast black bow detail, but sold on their name and the fact they’re a bargain. J’aime.
